The questionnaire was first translated into Turkish and then back translated.

Subsequently, it was cojducta to students from 4 different universities. The internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and validity were subsequently evaluated. Factor analysis, similar to the original scale, yielded 4 factors; the neuroticism, extraversion, psychoticism, and codnucta scales.

Kuder-Richardson alpha coefficients for the extraversion, neuroticism, psychoticism, and lie scales were 0. Our findings support the construct validity of the questionnaire. The results indicated that there was a gender difference only in the lie scale scores.

Our findings largely supported the reliability and validity of the questionnaire in a Turkish student sample. The psychometric characteristics of the Turkish version of the EPQR-A were discussed in light of the relevant literature.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the internal structure of the N scale in samples of Finnish and Turkish students. The bi-dimensional structure suggested by Francis had an acceptable fit to data in the Finnish and Turkish samples.

Higher N-S and N scores correlated with being a woman in the Turkish sample. Neither N nor N-S scores were related to sex in the Finnish sample. Turkish on N and N-A. Eysenck Psychobiological Personality Model: Full Text Available In this article, particular circumstances, author and ideas that influenced on the elaboration of one of the most solid personality models that Psychology has till nowadays: Eysenck Personality Model, are revised. Its main characteristics are presented, which defined it as a dispositional, dimensional, hierarchic and psychobiological model.

The intention of improving dimensions description, explanation, and measurement, took this author to propose changes to his original theory and instrument. Hence, different periods of this model are analyzed. In spite of proliferation of personality theories, Eysenck model has an empirical validity that only a few have.

Thus, we argue that in Personality Psychology there is a background available which represents the Paradigm into which we will probably antlsocial moving in the next years.

The control group consisted of 50 volunteers. The analysis of the results showed that the neurotic type of personality was predominant in the group of patients Neurotic personality found in such a high percentage of the patients with alopecia areata may be an additional element in the group of psychic factors that possibly have some influence on the development of the disease.

The question of whether background music is able to enhance cognitive clnducta performance is of interest to cconducta, educators, and stakeholders in business alike.

Studies have shown that background music can have beneficial, detrimental or no effects on cognitive task performance. Extraversion-and its postulated underlying cause, cortical arousal-is regarded as an important factor influencing the outcome of such studies. According to Eysenck ‘s theory of personalityextraverts’ cortical arousal at rest is lower compared to that of introverts.

Scholars have thus hypothesized that extraverts should benefit from background music in cognitive tasks, whereas introverts’ performance should decline with music in the background. Reviewing studies that have considered extraversion as a mediator of the effect of background music on cognitive task performance, it is demonstrated that there is as conduucta evidence in favor as there is against Eysenck ‘s theory of personality.

Further, revisiting Eysenck ‘s concept of cortical arousal-which has traditionally been assessed by activity in the EEG alpha band-and reviewing literature on the link between sab and cortical arousal, it is revealed that there is conflicting evidence. Due to Eysenck ‘s focus on alpha power, scholars have largely neglected higher frequency bands in the EEG signal as indicators of cortical arousal. Based on recent findings, it is suggested that beta power might not only be an indicator of alertness and attention but also a predictor of cognitive task performance.

In conclusion, it is proposed that focused music listening prior to cognitive tasks might be a more efficient way to boost performance than listening to background music during cognitive tasks. We discuss dr such an adaptation could be supported by an analytical software solution and present the initial version of this solution. In the form of a case study, we discuss the scores from a personality questionnaire that was administered to a group of university students enrolled in an introductory programming course at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

By using various exploratory and analytical techniques, we inspect the student EPQ—R scores and elaborate on the specificities of the participating student group. As part of our efforts to understand the broader relevance of different student personality traits in an academic environment, we also discuss how the EPQ—R scores of students could provide information valuable to the process of atnisocial student learning and performance in university courses in ACSI.

Three other studies were included that did not report on PRQ correlations with other health variables. The included studies addressed a variety of health problems and different population in different settings. Cronbach’s alphas for the included studies ranged from.

Hypothesized relationships between the PRQ and study variables including health promotion behavior, self-care behavior, self-efficacy, self-esteem, stress, depression, loneliness, pain, and disability were supported, providing positive evidence for PRQ construct validity. Included studies used the PRQ to address disparate populations in terms of age, socioeconomic fonducta, ethnicity, and educational background. This review found the PRQ to be a reliable and valid tool for measuring perceived social support across a wide range of populations.

Further studies are necessary to examine the relationship between social support and selected demographics among populations with different cultural backgrounds.
