A Firearms Transaction Record, or Form , is a form promulgated by the Bureau of Alcohol, date of birth, government-issued photo ID, National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) background check transaction number. The NICS, developed by the FBI in coordination with the ATF and local and state licensee (FFL) and complete ATF Form (Firearm Transaction Record).
